Welcome to Assay Explorer

Assay Explorer is a tool for finding pre-designed assays for mutation analysis using Sequenom's MassARRAY® system. This database allows you to query for assays of interest by mutation, gene, disease, or entire panels of interest. Search Assay Explorer for assays of interest, adding desired assays to your online Wish List form. Submit your Wish List to Sequenom, and your local Business Development Manager will contact you within 1-2 business days to discuss options available through Assays by Sequenom. 

Pre-designed OncoCarta Panels

Take advantage of the large, growing menu of ready-to-go OncoCarta Panels. Use 
Assay Explorer to quickly identify mutations or genes contained within the panels including: 

• OncoCarta v1.0 (OC_01): Sequenom's first cancer panel with 238 mutations and 19 oncogenes
• OncoCarta v2.0 (OC_02): A new cancer panel with 152 mutations and 18 oncogenes/ tumor suppressors
• OncoCarta v3.0 (OC_03): A new cancer panel with 105 mutations and 22 oncogenes/tumor suppressors
• MelaCarta v1.0 (ML_01): A new melanoma panel with 72 mutations and 20 genes

All assays within Assay Explorer have been designed and run on the MassARRAY System. This includes testing against HapMap DNA and/or other genomic DNA for wild-type allele extension.

Content from Assay Explorer is delivered to you through Assays by Sequenom (ABS). ABS offers a custom service program with a variety of options to suit your specific needs. The following highlights several options. Additional options can be requested through our Wish List form.

• Request sample runs against any panel or assay in Assay Explorer*
• Opt for custom panel development*

If you do not find a specific assay containing your gene or mutation of interest, add the "Custom" item to your Wish List below. Be sure to fill in the comments box under Request Information and we will contact you to discuss custom assay design.
