Fetal Nucleic Acid Technology

SEQureDx^® technology is a revolutionary approach to prenatal genetic screening. Rather than harvesting placental tissue cells (as is required for chorionic villus sampling), or entering the uterus to sample the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby (as is done with genetic amniocentesis), this proprietary technology extracts and analyzes DNA material directly from a maternal blood sample.

SEQureDx technology utilizes circulating cell-free fetal nucleic acids in maternal plasma to examine variances in the genetic material of the fetus, such as aneuploidies.
