Sequenom’s MassARRAY® technology is one of the most robust methodologies available today for DNA analysis and Sequenom is the world’s leader in the application of mass spectrometric analysis of DNA samples. Due to direct mass measurement of the analyte, our MassARRAY technology is recognized as the most accurate method for single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotype analysis, gene expression and methylation analysis.
Our accuracy is typically between 99.5% and 99.9% and is monitored in each project with a variety of internal controls. Coupled with our proprietary chemistries, the technology yields high (>80%) assay conversion rates for typical projects. Depending on the specifications of the service, we will deliver at least 95% of all possible data points for a given project.
