iPLEX® Gold Overview
MassARRAY® iPLEX Gold is the leading technology for SNP Genotyping for sub-whole genome study applications. The MassARRAY® System is widely used for fine mapping and validation studies and for routine applications that employ fixed SNP panels.
The iPLEX Gold assay combines the benefits of a simple and robust single-base primer extension biochemistry with the sensitivity and accuracy of MALDI-TOF MS detection.
Assays can be multiplexed up to 40 SNPs in one individual reaction allowing for throughput levels of up to 150,000 genotypes per instrument and day. The assay design is automated and straight forward, all oligonucleotide are unlabeled and of standard quality. This allows for an unprecedented turn-around time from assay design to result.
