Sequenom is committed to offering a benefit package that provides protection
and well being for you and your family. All benefits are effective your first
day of employment.

Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits
Sequenom offers comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits to its full
time employees. Our benefit-rich plans provide excellent medical care for
our employees while saving them a considerable amount of money.
Income Protection
In the event an employee has to miss work for a considerable period of time,
we provide, at no charge to employees, short term and long term disability
coverage. Life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage
is also provided for each employee with additional optional coverage available
for purchase.
Time Off
Every employee starts with at least 11 vacation days and 8 holidays per year.
As your tenure with Sequenom increases, so does your vacation. We also provide
sick leave in the event you or an immediate family member is ill.
Stock Options
Every full time employee receives stock options. This means you can share directly
in the company's financial successes. In addition, employees are eligible
to participate in our employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).
Retirement
Employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan effective the first
day of the quarter following their hire date.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Sequenom offers EAP services to our employees. This service is designed to
help resolve issues relating to relationships, parenting, stress management,
legal referrals, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, anger, bereavement,
grief or work conflict.
Other Benefits
As a Sequenom employee you also have the option to participate in Flexible
Spending Accounts, Section 529 College Saving Plan, Personal Accident Expense
Plan, and Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan.
